walk in to the forest make it slow put your mind to rest were the tiny mushrooms grow

It is truly amazing to watch how natures color change through the year. Take the blueberry plant, in spring its leaves are all bright green and full of vitality. And through the summer the plant is using all its energy to flourish and produce sweet berries. When the berries are ripe and someone have picked them or they have just fallen to the ground the leaves color change from bright green to deep red, purple and blue.

I came a cross this little beauty, a dragon fly, on a little rhododendron bush in my garden. I watched it for a while and thought it was a pity I didn’t have my camera with me. Just in case it would be there for a while I ran in to the house and fetched my camera and luckily the little dragonfly still was resting on the same little bush. I was so happy as these insects don’t sit still for a very long time. I do not know what type of dragonfly this is, but worldwide there are over 3000 different types, in Norway there are only 48 types.

Nymphaea alba
Water lilies is one of the most beautiful plants I know. This shot is also one of my best shots. It is from Lillomarka just outside Oslo when I went on a walk with a very good friend of mine. I used a 300 mm Nikon lense, lying flat in the swamp to avoid any unwanted movements.
I hope you also enjoy this beautiful and mysterious flower.
